We have officially become a nation of the offended. The Professor in this case very likely was having trouble with storing data in some places where there are blocks on seemingly offensive speech, and ways to work around those censors, not to mention doing the student a favor, though she probably gets a kick out being offended and using that offense as a weapon. I believe Phuc is Vietnamese for "Karen".
