The Alphabet People Lie...

 First, the new laws referenced are a problem ONLY because they are grandstanding by politicians looking to curry favor with a particular constituency that is seemingly unaware that MORE laws are not only growing Government but are redundant when there are already existing laws NOT being enforced. For example, there are LAWS about malpractice. You do not have to make special laws about special medical practices. 

  Second, the Transgressive part of the Alphabet People are an actual THREAT to gay kids. Kids who grow up not fitting into the gender norms usually figure out where they belong, becoming comfortable in their skin, and with their sexuality. Transgression INSISTS that gender norms be conformed to, and will "offer" kids and parents Conversion Therapy and/or surgery to ensure that they fit in. This is antithetical to what gay advocates had been supporting for decades, but because Transgression is the Flavor of the Month, gays are now only useful in building numbers when Media wants to push the agenda further.
