Transgression Wins.

So, the Supremes weighed in again on LGBTQRXYZ issues, and managed to mess up as usual. Lauded by the media as a ban on discrimination based upon sexual orientation, where a gay person cannot get fired for BEING gay (though there is no such push to prevent HIRING based upon BEING gay, because that is, of course, a good thing...), which was already covered under almost all anti-discrimination in the workplace legislation, what this REALLY does is expand those protection to the transgenders, which was the goal. Whether to block the President or to provide cover for him so as not to have to follow through on promises made to keep transgenders out of the military, Gorsuch and Gang managed to accomplish just that. The problem for those of us who are gay is that we are once again placed in the same category with the mentally ill and/or delusional. It is also a continuation of the ACTUAL War on Women, as Transgression affects them more negatively than it does men. For example, within the military, a man pretending to be a woman changes the physical limits which real women must meet in order to pass testing. A man will more likely fill the role that might have been reserved for a woman by being more physically capable than a real woman, but the box will have been checked off. There are negative consequences to politically-motivated decisions, and the Supremes have been wrong before. They are wrong now.
