So this has been going on for some time, with even the President considering banning vaping "for the children". As I stated recently, banning vaping would likely turn at least a few ex-smokers BACK to smoking, which is what the Nanny State wants, because smokers are easier to control than vapers. Vaping has no effect on those around the vaper, except for the occasional "Karen" who senses that someone might be experiencing pleasure outside of her rules. Unlike cigarettes, vaping is not easily detected, and therefore vapers are not penned and/or banned to the same extent as smokers. With no way to control behavior, as they can with smoking or mask-wearing, Government MUST resort to banning the item that scares them, so they are targeting the vapes themselves. In this case, flavors, because everyone knows that adults do not experience flavor. See also: vodkas.
