 The media has always enjoyed having an "enemy" with no teeth to give a show of opposition for its chosen Party, and Mitch McConnell-Chao is a current favorite. Recall that they once seemed angry at him over supposedly blocking the Supreme Court nomination for Merry Garland, when they knew they had much BIGGER Power planned for Merry in Biden's regime. Using a more popular lightning rod for the Leftists seemingly attacking Mitch, namely Greene, is one way of endorsing McConnel-Chao without seeming to "switch sides".

Not a word about attacking McConnell-Chao's doctor, as when Trump was given a clean bill of health during his term, because this is the diagnosis they wanted.

I am not suggesting that "term limits" be applied, because that just means a relative, spouse, or colourized version will replace them. My suggestion has always been to treat every member of Congress equally. NO seniority for anyone.
