Chauvinism...

 I have always argued that Derek Chauvin's staged pose atop his ex-co-worker had more behind it than we were permitted to know. He has been locked away for some time now, but only this weekend was he stabbed in prison. (Apparently he knows nothing about the Clintons, so no one left him lethal bedsheets.) And that stabbing was right on the heels of the Supremes rejecting his appeal to them to look into his case. We know why they rejected it: having the facts come out would be devastating to the Government. Having been rejected, though, what more harm could Chauvin do them? My guess is that it was an attack to send a message to anyone else who might have cut a deal, and then sought to back out.
