And With a Wave of His Hand....

I'm beginning to hear "Newsom" in my head in Seinfeld's "Newman" voice, as he's back again, this time deciding to follow up his finger-wagging with an actual closing of California beaches! The rich won't have a problem, of course, if the weather is hot this weekend, as they have PRIVATE beaches and/or pools to lounge around in and to refresh themselves and cool off. CITIZENS who TAN will be hardest hit, but, then, they don't really COUNT in the "New" Amerika, do they? Hats off to HERR Newsom, and I hope he manages to avoid the inevitable heat in the afterlife.

Quarantine Getting Old...

Just noticing that Bing/Yahoo/MSN again show links to the Panda-emic whenever there appears to be a crack in the conditioning and that the sheeple might not be willing to go along with the quarantines which only seem to include the law-abiding citzenry. These fear tactics have worked so far, but will they overcome a "quarantine fatigue"? We'll see.

Newsom Scolds....

The image of Free CITIZENS scared Fascist Gavin Newsom so much this past weekend that he scolded the people he allegedly represents for going to the beach! Basically acting like a parent whose kids are acting up and who is threatening to turn the car around on their vacation he warned that having fun was going to delay his state's reopening. Poor Gavin. North Korea MAY be in need of a dictator, and here he is, stuck with a Constitution, and still some CITIZENS in his state whom he has not managed to replace with non-citizens. If only he'd been born in Korea....

Hero Again!

I really thought that Easter and its related services would have resurrected the country and had people pushing back against the Draconian measures being taken against the Panda-emic, but no such luck. We will likely have to wait until the nation's APPROVED religious event of Gay Pride Month in June for true Gaytriots to ignore social distancing and lock downs. Asa with Stonewall itself, the Alphabet People will win the day.
In the meantime, we do have some heroism, and in this case it's the return of the Hero Pastor Tony Spell of Louisiana who so riles the media. Not a huge story, but we will likely return to it to see if the coverage of the expected June Heroism is in any way as negative as that of this man.

More Pile On.....

The media had to reach back to the Bush era to find an "expert" to criticize my state's reopening! While the Atlanta Mayor Bottoms has taken up residence as a CNN contributary, daily waling about the excesses of her bosses', the PEOPLE, who dared to elect a Governor and President who she despises, for obvious reasons, the state seems to have enjoyed a pleasant weekend, almost as if it existed in a free nation. The business at the local nail salon was booming, and the only difference I saw as a passerby was that the customers were now wearing masks, whereas before the KungFlu, it was just the nail techs.
The state IS still majority Republican, despite Stacey Abrams' whining, so the media seemed obligated to find a "Republican" to weigh in that he thought Governor Kemp opened too soon. No basis, of course, but he has "cred" for having been a head of the FDA, which has a stake in making sure that there is a vaccine requirement before the Fascism eases up. NOT a disinterested party, but the media was just happy with the optics. They can go back to hiding. We should not.

Too Soon?

My state, Georgia, is set to partially reopen tomorrow (Friday), and the wringing of hands has begun as the media sets out to paint Governor Brian Kemp as some sort of a villain who will be forcing people to leave the safety of the cells...er...homes, and venture out into the Zombie Apocalypse that is the current condition of their communities, which is far from truthful. But the media is in an interesting situation. They, along with their Komrades in the DemoKrat Party and Hollywood, despise the Georgia Governor and the voters who chose him over the expensively marketed Stacey Abrams, whom they still hope will give them a return on their investment if Joe Biden picks her for President of the United States, but they also just generally hate Donald Trump. And Trump has weighed in saying he thinks it is "too soon" to open my state and make it a place of freedom once again. My kneejerk reaction is "OrangeManBad", because: 1) It's not HIS livelihood or freedom at stake and 2) He has said he would leave reopening up to the states, but upon reflection it seems that he is giving the media a chance to embrace Kemp and his decision, because the media HAS to be FOR anything Trump is against. The media reporting leans toward gossipy tones of having two enemies in a tiff, and enjoying the tiff,  and relishing the fact that if either side wins, at least there's a loser. They do NOT want a successful reopening of any part of America, and especially not a Republican-leaning state, so they are drumming up statistics about the current KungFlu death toll, and speculation that reopening will increase that. On the Trump side, though, they are in a corner. If Kemp succeeds they can always bash Trump for being wrong, but they won't do that, because it will make Kemp look good. And if things go badly in my state, they still won't side with Trump, because he is Trump. A lose/lose for them. And Trump looks cautious, while Kemp looks courageous. So I am looking forward to see what happens.
As far as what is reopening, none of it affects me, but maybe it IS time to get a new gym membership. Or a manicure.

Finally!

Well, even though it appears that news of President Trump suspending immigration temporarily is not entirely true, with loopholes for corporate drones and Nancy Boys to keep Pelosi in ice cream, it's still a decent shift and maybe the only silver lining to the Panda-emic, and the subsequent overreaction. It's just a pause and only applies to green cards, and perhaps to illegal immigration as well, but it's got to have SOME impact, because the usual suspects are already squealing over Trump acting like a dictator, etc. Maybe the Congress can figure out that laws can be passed that place America first, even if there is not a manufactured crisis. We'll see.

Media Shaming

The Media continues its attempt to shame anyone who doesn't give up all their rights in order to stay safely imprisoned, as they report Jacksonville, Florida beaches reopening and add that "record" KungFlu cases are reported there, as if they are connected, which they MIGHT be, but there's no actual proof. As we learned in college, correlation does not imply causation. We also learned how to lie with statistics, which the media has down pat. Imagine if the founders of the country were able to be dissuaded from War with the Brits by the King just quarantining the colonists "for their own good", and the OTHER colonists ridiculed them for wanting their freedom. That's what we're seeing now. And the Media USED to OPPOSE Fascism. What a sad turn of events.

Case Closed!

Well, the Director of the Wuhan lab from whence KungFlu evolved, Yuan Zhiming, has denied any link, so I guess that's all we really need to know. Case closed. It would be interesting if the media were as focused upon discovering the source as they are in protecting the source's feelings.

Conway and Covid!

Amateur epidemiologist Kellyanne Conway committed the mortal sin of not knowing what the "19" in Covid 19 stands for, which makes it all the more important to use the proper terms such as Wuhan Virus, China Virus, or Kung Flu, which do not require one to know the year of the virus, but the geopgraphic origin. The media could not tell you the year of the Spanish Flu, because that is not the most important fact. But, then, no one cares about the feelings of the Spanish. Enjoy the weekend.

Trump Checks Trigger Some People!

So now the problem with the KungFlu checks is that they will have the President's name on them. One would think that that would be an incentive for those who despise him to cash them quickly, rather than complaining. But never ones to allow a gripe to pass them by, the Washington Post reported that “senior IRS officials,” reported on Tuesday that The Treasury Department “has ordered” Trump’s name be printed on stimulus checks the Internal Revenue Service is rushing to send to tens of millions of Americans, a process that could slow their delivery by a few days.” It's amazing that they NEVER find someone who they can name to provide them with information. Also weighing in were those in charge of dispensing the taxpayers' money, like Maxine Waters and Nazi Pelosi, who would not permit help for small businesses nor Border Security, but has made it her life's mission to ensure the safety of Ukraine.
Just remember to spend the money online or on masks.

New York Times Believes SOME Women...

Former Biden staffer (get your mind OUT of the gutter!) Tara Reade (no, not THAT one) is claiming that some 30 years ago, when she could not afford underwear, and he still had all his marbles, the then-Senator made an unwanted advance upon her of a sexual nature. Unlike his current modus operandi, he apparently was not interested in the hair on her head, and was more interested in below-the-neck regions. After the media, who gleefully pursued such truthtellers as Anita Hill, Chrissie Boozy-Ford, and Julie Sweatnik, because they had "credibly" accused conservatives of sexual harassment and even criminal assaults, were called out for their obvious double standard in ignoring Reade's claims (triple standard if one includes allegations against Cory Booker by males) the New York Times went "in depth" to make it look as if they were taking her "claims" seriously, while preparing a defense of their candidate for President. Naturally they found that Biden was innocent and that Reade has no basis for her allegation, and that some women are NOT to be just believed. Let's see if they hold to that the next time a woman accuses a conservative guy..

What Happens When A State Steps Out Of Line?

The media fell in line today, attempting to shame Republican (a natural target for the Fake News) Governor Kristi Noem for having had the AUDACITY to claim that she led a state of Free Americans, rather than the sheeple found in the other 49 states, and not taking away their rights as a good Fascist should. Now the media are declaring South Dakota a "hot spot" for the Kung Flu, despite no clear evidence that her the state's lack of a Fascist response caused any worse effects than those felt in states where draconian measures were taken.
The Washington Post interpreted Noem, regarding the Fascist moves demanded of the Government : "'Such edicts to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus', Gov. Kristi L. Noem said disparagingly, reflected a 'herd mentality.' It was up to individuals — not government — to decide whether 'to exercise their right to work, to worship and to play. Or to even stay at home.'"
The Philadelphia Inquirer's Griff Witte did not hide his bias in his reporting: "Noem, who said she was closely coordinating with the White House, focused her remarks on a trial of hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malarial drug that Trump has frequently touted as a possible remedy for the coronavirus, though its effectiveness has not been proved."
Then he goes on  to cite anecdotal reasons why the state MUST be shut down, in compliance with our new Nazi normal. Does one NEED to ask whose side the Media are on? It is NOT the American CITIZEN.

Fauci is Shorthand for "Fascist"!

Media darling Anthony Fauci (shorthand for "Fascist") looks like he might be in trouble, and said Media are rushing to his rescue, pointing out that President Trump retweeted a call by DeAnna Lorraine, which included the hashtag FireFauci in what they refer as a "Tweet Storm". This followed a weekend of appearances on cable news, including CNN, which refuses to carry daily White House briefings about the Kung Flu, even though Fauci is front-and-center, because they include the President of the United States, who they despise, in which Dr. Fauci bemoaned the President's early unwillingness to remove the civil rights of the American citizenry, and all that Constitutional silliness.
On CNN, in response to Jake Tapper, Fauci stated "“You know, Jake, again, it’s the what would have, what could have. It’s very difficult to go back and say that. I mean, obviously, you could logically say that if you had a process that was ongoing and you started mitigation earlier, you could have saved lives. Obviously, no one is going to deny that. But what goes into those kinds of decisions is complicated. But you’re right, I mean, obviously, if we had right from the very beginning shut everything down, it may have been a little bit different. But there was a lot of pushback about shutting things down back then.”
A nice Fascist response would have apparently saved lives, according to the good doctor, and of what importance are freedoms after all?
While Fauci had no trouble placing blame on Americans he equivocated when it came to China, with Fox News' Jesse Watters, stating  “Now we know retrospectively that there was an ongoing transmission from human to human in China probably at least a few week before then. And then when we finally did get the virus here it became clear when he started looking at what was going on that that was misinformation right from the beginning. So who’s ever faults that was, you know, we’re going back to take a look at that when this is all over but clearly not right information that was given to us.”

No Playing Outside!

Paris bans outdoor exercise during the day, which makes one wonder whether it is a response to health crisis, in which case it makes little sense, or a way to ensure that the Yellow Vest movement does not resurface, which seems a more likely motive. Nothing about the KungFlu nor the overreaction to it should probably be taken at face value. Enjoy your weekend.

A Surefire Cure!

One of the problems with the Elite handling a crisis, is that they don't, for example, grocery shop in the way that the people they rule over do. Even on the off chance that the "help" is off and they need a special meal for a tryst or whatnot, or their fave restaurant is booked, they "shop" at trendy little high-end stores that sell items categorized by diet strategy. They do not see that calling for going without a grocery visit for two weeks would likely do more harm to a family than one of them contracting a mostly-curable virus. It is just so frustrating to see all of our "betters" making decisions for us as if they were playing the Sims and they could just turn off the players' free will and/or needs. This is not a game. At least not to us.

Postal Workers Demand Hazard Pay!

Apparently mail is still being delivered, which means it might be time for me to check my box. Postal workers are demanding hazard pay over, I guess, having to handle mail that might be contaminated?
I am assuming that, since the DemocratSocialists are pushing Vote-by-Mail (not the much smarter Vote-by-Male), the Post Office will be prioritized, as you cannot have one without the other.

Grassley Shows His Colors.

Chuck Grassley, who allowed Dianne Feinstain's attempt to destroy Justice Kavanaugh, while allegedly chairing the Senate Judiciary committee, on which Feinstain has perched for decades, is now suddenly upset that President Trump has a never-before-used right to hire and fire as a President of the United States! Grassley, who has been in the Senate since the previous century, is a clear indication that the Republican Party will ALWAYS have its share of Republican'ts. We NEED a Third Party, one that will pay attention to the Constitution, and that will put the needs of America over those of, say, Ukraine.
I do NOT believe that, even if voting were to return properly to taxpayers, who have a vested interest in  the country, voters' choices should be limited by term limits on Congresspeople, because there is a simple way around them, which is to run a spouse for the position once the original Officeholder has been term limited. The best way I can see to limit these seemingly lifetime appointments without hamstringing the voters, is to limit their power once elected. Every Senator and every Representative gets exactly the same vote and no one is guaranteed a leadership position or a Committee chair simply based upon longevity. If the voter who is given the option of Grassley or anyone else, and Grassley were to have the same amount of power as, say, Josh Hawley, the voter might consider a fresh alternative. At the same time, with no guarantee of being able to turn Power into money, the likes of Grassley might just opt for a real job.

Kentucky Governor Admits Cheating?

Democrat Governor Andy Beshear vetoed a Bill allowing for Voter I.D., so one would assume that he is admitting he couldn't have won if ACTUAL voting had taken place. Perhaps there ought to be some audit of the vote, or at the very least a VERY strict watch during the next election to make sure that, since he doesn't want actual registered voters to be the only ones voting, that he does NOT get his wish, and cannot cheat his way into Office again. Remember, too, that the same DemocratSocialists who are against Voter I.D. want the citizenry to believe that it was the RUSSIANS who interfered in the 2016 election, and not, say, the Mexicans, of whom there are far more living and voting in America than the ex-USSR members.
